Our client, a well-established luxury care home, is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sous Chef to support their Head Chef and lead a dedicated kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about creating high-quality, nutritious meals for older adults in a warm and welcoming environment.
As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring residents enjoy delicious and well-balanced meals tailored to their dietary needs and preferences. Working closely with the Head Chef, the successful candidate will provide leadership and support to the kitchen team while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
* Kitchen Support: Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring smooth service.
* Team Leadership: Support and guide a team of chefs and kitchen assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Menu Execution: Help prepare and deliver nutritious, appetising meals that cater to a range of dietary requirements.
* Food Safety & Compliance: Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and safety standards, complying with food hygiene regulations.
* Stock & Budget Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and managing budgets effectively.
* Collaboration with Care Teams: Work closely with care teams to adapt menus to residents' needs and preferences.
* Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.
