The Role
The successful candidate will be expected to:
1. Lead the delivery of high-quality Workday Financials advisory and delivery projects.
2. Provide specialist advice in Workday Financials and work closely with client leads to optimise processes and maximise the benefits of Workday.
3. Contribute to business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal, and contract / commercial negotiations with our Workday clients.
4. Help grow the Workday Financials Capability by sharing knowledge, developing thought leadership, and supporting team members' career aspirations.
5. Have functional expertise in the latest Workday Financials solutions and integrations with other systems/modules.
6. Advise on technical integration of Workday Financials with other client and third-party tools/applications.
7. Advise on data migration and data integrity during deployment.
The Person
The successful candidate will have:
1. Experience with multiple end-to-end Workday Financials implementations in a consulting environment.
2. Functional expertise in Workday Financials processes across areas like Order to Cash, Projects to Results, Acquire to Retire, Source to Pay, Record to Report, and Plan to Perform.
3. An understanding of key finance business issues that drive transformation programs.
4. Experience across various industry sectors such as Media, Services, Retail, Insurance, and Local Government.
5. Background in designing and delivering end-to-end business processes across multiple areas.
6. Understanding of the architectural elements of ERP programs, including functional, application, and technical aspects.
7. Ability to independently run client workshops to drive design decisions and system demonstrations, both in person and remotely.
8. Experience in preparing configuration and design documents like functional specifications and solution design documents.
9. Knowledge of financial concepts relevant for Cloud ERP projects.
10. Experience in data migration principles and integration design from a functional perspective.
11. Experience operating and implementing in a cloud environment, understanding the impacts versus on-premise solutions.
12. Proven ability to produce project deliverables such as business requirements, functional specs, process flows, and requirements traceability matrices.
