The Role
:
As Sales Manager, you will drive sales by maintaining existing accounts and creating new opportunities in public, health, and education sectors.
Duties:
1. Sell library and educational furniture to public sector institutions.
2. Engage in proactive sales activities with active and dormant local authority accounts.
3. Respond to new sales leads and inquiries.
4. Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors.
5. Maintain sales pipeline and accurate sales forecasting.
6. Conduct site visits and surveys.
7. Identify and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximise opportunities.
Requirements:
8. Previously worked as a Sales Manager or in a similar role.
9. Proven experience of 2 years in face-to-face sales
10. 2 years’ experience in the educational, commercial, or library furniture and interiors industry (preferable)
11. Background of managing or working within a sales territory (desirable).
12. Full UK driving licence
