Stock Controller
Fixed term contract – 6 months
JOB OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Stock Controller to join our Global Operations department based in Dunfermline on a 6- month Fixed Term Contract.
You will be working within a lean customer focussed warehouse and logistics environment that is responsible for ensuring that all the companies material movement demands are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Goods In Processing: GRN, RMA & RTV receipts, stock labelling, locating and material transfers.
2. Sales order Processing: Order picking, processing, and Logistics fulfilment.
3. Production Kitting: Manufacturing order generation / processing, lineside and kit stock replenishment, Finished product processing.
4. Cycle Counting: Perpetual cycle counting.
5. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System processing: Ensuring all stock movements are transacted efficiently and accurately.
6. Housekeeping: Conform to working within a “6’s” environment.
7. Be a contributor to the Department’s Continuous Improvement programme.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS OR QUALITES ARE REQUIRED
8. Valid Reach Truck.
9. Valid Aisle Master.
10. Clean driving license.
11. Experienced in using an ERP systems inventory module,” Dynamics” would be preferable.
12. A proven track record of working within a medium/low manufacturing environment within stores.
13. Experience of Lean Manufacturing techniques: 5s, KANBAN and KAIZAN.
14. Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
15. Customer focussed with good interpersonal and communication skills.
16. Highly numerate, ideally hold a mathematical qualification.
17. A competent self-starter with a flexible attitude and the ability to handle a multi tasked role in a face paced changing environment.
