We are seeking a professional and proactive Receptionist to deliver efficient front-of-house services and administrative support. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a positive and professional environment for our clients, visitors, and colleagues. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys being at the heart of office operations. If you're looking to kickstart your career in reception services while gaining valuable skills and experience, we are pleased to offer an optional Apprenticeship alongside this role to help you grow and develop. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 12 noon to 5 pm. Flexibility will be required to cover the day shift during periods of annual leave.
What you'll be doing...
* Managing the switchboard and providing general administrative support.
* Greeting visitors and callers with professionalism and warmth.
* Organising meeting room bookings, coordinating catering, and arranging transport.
* Ensuring office facilities are well-maintained, including managing stationery supplies and photocopiers.
* Supporting the Office Manager with office maintenance tasks and maintaining accurate Health & Safety records.
* Providing flexible cover for annual leave within the team.
Required Skills:
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
* IT Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Customer Service Orientation: Proven ability to deliver exceptional service to stakeholders.
* Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy in managing schedules, supplies, and documentation.
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a supportive attitude.
* Previous experience: in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not essential.
