Are you a strategic marketing leader with a passion for health and wellbeing? Join a global brand as their EMEA Marketing Director and make a significant impact on the local development and execution of marketing and business plans across the EMEA region. In this role, you'll oversee the marketing performance of personal care products, collaborate with key stakeholders, and define business needs and priorities. You'll work closely with the sales team, manage budgets, and ensure the effective deployment of marketing resources. Your strong product background in the retail sector and experience with NPD and omni-channel strategies will be crucial.
A bit about the role:
1. Be responsible for overall marketing of personal care performance of the EMEA region with the management team, working with counterparts in Sales.
2. Work with the marketing team structure to define, agree, and execute the marketing plan.
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders & Management Team to agree on Country strategy aligned with the category priorities.
4. Define the business needs and priorities and allocate resources accordingly.
5. Define business KPIs.
6. Identify and realise business development opportunities and develop clear rationale for investment and ROI.
7. Manage and mentor the product team in establishing effective product & category management.
8. Work closely with US product teams to create road maps, ensuring EMEA consumer requirements are met.
9. Work with the creative team to build A+ content.
10. Establish and maintain relationships across the EMEA structure.
11. Develop and improve the marketing team through mentoring and coaching.
12. Ensure all team members are developed to their full potential.
13. Identify accounts that need support and ensure full compliance.
14. Work closely with Heads of Sales to ensure effective deployment of Marketing resources and execution of Marketing activities by the sales team.
15. Review performance and present results to the CEO and wider management team.
16. Provide input as part of the leadership team into reviews and end-of-year evaluations.
17. Work with the Management team to agree on the Budget.
18. Maintain open communication across all areas of the business ensuring the personification of the company value.
What we need from you:
1. Proven Director or Head of Marketing experience.
2. Experience working with products between £50-100.
3. Ability to understand a product process from start to finish.
4. Experience in working with tangible product to market and experience with NPD experience and roadmaps is a MUST.
5. Experience running marketing teams and happy to be hands-on.
6. Ability to react quickly and drive change easily.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and international teams with ease.
This hybrid position requires at least 2 days a week in the office near Tunbridge Wells.
