Your new opportunity Our Moray Childrens Rights Service are currently recruiting a Childrens Rights Participation Worker to join our dedicated team based in Elgin, Moray. The service provides support to children and young people and their families. This is the perfect time for someone to join ourservice and help support young people through informed practices and empower young people, so their voice is heard. You will ensure the service supports and encourages children, young people and their families ongoing participation in expressing their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views taken seriously. Working pattern; This is a permanent part time role working 16 hours per week. What you will need to succeed/bring to the role Compassion and kindness to support young people in their day to day lives. Knowledge of children's rights legislation and care system issues Enthusiasm and self-motivation. Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals. Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes. Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener. Good IT & communication skills.
