About the role
This role is internally known as Prudential Governance Analyst.
We have an exciting opportunity to elevate your career and give you rare, hands-on exposure to the Compliance Function on a full time, 6-month fixed term contract as part of the Prudential Governance Team.
As part of the Risk Division, we work closely with the Risk Director, navigating a diverse and exciting range of responsibilities that include fostering a strong relationship with the PRA (our prudential regulator), supporting the business to implement regulatory changes, and ensuring ongoing compliance.
Additionally, we also support the internal governance framework, helping to ensure that governance committees run effectively and continue to meet their terms of reference.
As a Prudential Governance Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting prudential compliance activities, including:
* Interacting with senior managers, including Board members and the Executive Team, helping them to ensure we continue to meet our regulatory obligations.
* Championing compliance with the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SM&CR) and the regulatory requirements for remuneration.

You’ll have sharp analytical skills and a creative flair for storytelling, enabling you to interpret detailed technical information, simplify it, and present it in an engaging way tailored to the audience.
You have a curious mindset and meticulous attention to detail, along with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
You’ll also have:
* A good understanding of SM&CR (Senior Manager Certification Regime) and corporate governance.
* Strong organisational prowess with the ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to forge positive relationships across multiple teams.
* Digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
