Job summary Gossops Green Medical, Crawley is looking for either a Part Time or Full Time Practice Nurse to expand our small friendly GP Practice team. List size of 7500 patients. Team includes 8 GPs, 1 ANP Nurse, 1 HCA and 1 new Nurse starting. We are looking for a professional, committed individual who will provide routine nurse services. Main duties of the job Ideally you will have previous experience of working in Primary Care. Candidates should be computer literate, ideally with knowledge of SystmOne and be competent in providing: - Basic treatment room duties to include Immunisations, B12s, Zoladex, Smears, Contraception & HRT reviews, - Chronic disease management - Asthma, Hypertension, COPD. - Diabetic basic knowledge - full training can be given Full training will be provided to the right candidate. Support will be provided in house and future career development is encouraged for our nursing staff. Diabetes (not essential but knowledge helpful) training can be given Advise patients on general healthcare, including minor illnesses and ailments with referral to General Practitioners as necessary (training can be given) Cytology smear taking, swabs, basic sexual health & contraception ECGs Asthma/Peak Flow Readings.
