Act as the 'second-in-command' to the Registered Manager, upholding high standards of care in line with CQC regulations. Create and sustain a homely, secure environment tailored to the individual needs of service users. Develop and review personalised support plans and risk assessments, ensuring they reflect the evolving needs of our service users. Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and NAPPI strategies to manage challenging behaviours effectively. Lead, inspire, and develop your team through coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews. Manage staff recruitment, induction, and professional development, empowering your team to excel. Participate in on-call duties to provide guidance during out-of-hours situations. Your Skills and Experience Proven leadership experience within a health & social care setting. A Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Strong knowledge of CQC regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders. A positive & proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Experience in developing staff and fostering a culture of excellence, kindness, and transparency. Your Key Responsibilities Maintain compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive audit success. Implement and monitor electronic systems for care planning, staff scheduling, and record-keeping. Oversee medication management, ensuring safe administration and accurate record-keeping. Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and ensure the delivery of high-standard care plans.
