Our Customer Engagement team has a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst to join them in Preston / Manchester / Hybrid.
Our Role
This is a fixed term role to support the implementation of a new CRM system. The role will play a key part in rebuilding our internal reporting suite using our new system. The role will support the project team with all stages of the implementation from user acceptance testing to roll out and be the key point of contact for rebuilding and enhancing our existing reporting suite with our new functionality.
What we're looking for
1. Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation
2. Strong understanding of data modelling and data visualization concepts
3. Experience with VBA and SQL for data manipulation and extraction
4. Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations
5. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
6. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
8. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
9. Adaptability to changing business requirements
10. Create custom applications: Use VBA to create custom applications for Excel
11. Automate tasks: Write macros and scripts to automate repetitive tasks
12. Manipulate data: Use VBA to manipulate data and generate reports
13. Streamline workflows: Use VBA to create automated workflows for sharing spreadsheets
14. Analyze data: Use VBA to analyze complex data and develop automated reporting
15. Create macros: Create macros to work with large amounts of data
16. Optimize processes: Use Excel to optimize processes
17. Develop databases: Develop Microsoft Access databases
18. Debug software: Debug existing software
