The Role The firm are seeking a qualified CTA Tax Consultant with experience in either corporation tax or private client tax consultancy. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client matters, preparing reports, conducting technical research, and delivering exceptional service. This position offers the flexibility of working from home two days a week, with the remaining three days in office.
1. Client Management: Take responsibility for client matters as directed, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
2. Report Preparation: Assist in preparing reports, documents, and correspondence for clients.
3. Workload Management: Manage your own workload efficiently, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
4. Client Interaction: Deal directly with clients on complex matters, providing clear and professional communication.
5. Technical Research: Conduct technical research on tax matters as required, staying up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure comprehensive client service.
Your Experience and Skills
Essential Criteria:
7. Qualifications: Qualified CTA.
8. Experience: Proven experience in either corporation tax or private client tax consultancy.
9. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients.
10. Organisational Skills: Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
11. Technical Proficiency: Ability to carry out technical research on tax matters and apply findings effectively.
Preferred Criteria:
12. Additional Qualifications: Chartered Accountants interested in pursuing a career in tax are also encouraged to apply.
