Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales having transitioned from outbound to account management, and will be responsible for managing, developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts. They will oversee multiple sales teams, ensuring peak performance while delivering exceptional client service. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to motivate others, and a talent for understanding both internal team dynamics and client needs. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Account Management: Manage and prioritise key accounts, focusing on the ones that require the most attention to drive growth and client satisfaction. Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and support multiple sales teams, ensuring that each team member reaches their full potential. Identify individual strengths, weaknesses, and areas for development, and provide the necessary support to enhance performance. Lead weekly pipeline reviews. Product Knowledge: Quickly learn and understand new products and services. Provide clear and concise training to the sales teams, ensuring they can confidently sell and present the offerings to clients. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with founders and management teams to align sales strategies with broader company goals. Participate in management meetings, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth. Motivation & Coaching: Serve as a coach and motivator for the sales teams. Inspire and encourage them to reach their targets, providing guidance and feedback on areas of improvement. Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Develop strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring that the services provided meet or exceed expectations. Key Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in sales : At least 6 years experience. Evidence of outbound sales experience. Transitioned to Account Management. Experience in Tech/Saas sales not necessary. Strong strategic thinking. Excellent organisational skills. Emotional intelligence. Ability to read people and understand team dynamics, effectively identifying how to get the best performance out of each team member. Bright, presentable, and able to communicate confidently in management and client meetings. Quick learner with the ability to absorb new products and services and train others on them. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide and inspire sales teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in strategic account management, with a track record of driving growth through client relationships. Prior experience managing sales teams and providing coaching for performance improvement. Ability to work with senior stakeholders. Why Join Us?
