About the role:
Camfil is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to work within our busy Air Pollution Control Engineering department. The role will be focused on managing technical contract orders from the handover to sign off. It will include generating drawings for approval and manufacturing, creating detailed bill of materials, liaising with purchasing, and coordinating site work where required. The ideal candidate would be looking to grow and develop engineering skills within our multinational organisation.
The role is office-based in Haslingden, England (UK). We believe there is value in working onsite as you will benefit from close collaboration with our Engineering team.
We consider different levels of seniority for this position and will be open to recent graduates who would like to explore a career within our very unique market sector.
Role priorities:
1. Collaboration with the sales department in order to provide technical solutions for incoming enquires
2. Creating general assembly and detailed fabrication drawings using SolidWorks
3. Preparing bills of materials for manufacturing using the ERP system
4. Acting as a point of contact for both internal and external customers regarding drawing approvals, delivery schedules, technical queries, and customer issues
5. Ordering installation elements, managing orders, and creating manufacturing packs
6. Participation and coordination of the installation progress
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in 3D CAD assembly and sheet metal fabrication drawing (SolidWorks is essential)
2. Higher education diploma or Engineering degree is preferred
3. Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
4. Good command of MS Office package
5. Experience working with MRP/ BOMS
6. Fluent in spoken and written English
