Job summary CAMHS is a specialist mental health service for children and young people who have moderate to severe mental health problems. The service offers face to face clinic based and video conferencing approach to delivering care and assessments over four sites across the county. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, highly experienced administrator to join the Worcestershire CAMHS admin team on a permanent basis. The post is within Worcestershire and Herefordshire CAMHS working as an Administrator based at our Worcester office. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced individual to join us, the successful candidate will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. There may be times where you are asked to work at one of our different localities (Kidderminster and/or Redditch) for cover purposes. Main duties of the job Your base will be CAMHS Aconbury North, Worcestershire Hospital site however there may be occasions when you are required to work from any of the CAMHS sites according to business needs and therefore a degree of flexibility is required. The role will include co-ordinating patient appointments ensuring compliance with commissioned deadlines, management of waiting lists and data performance, entering data on the patient record system and liaising with a range of healthcare professionals and other agencies such as GP, Schools and local Hospitals. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required. The role will include working with spreadsheets so excellent Microsoft Excel skills are a must. Also required is excellent organisation skills and a keen eye for detail. You will be used to working to prescribed processes to complete set tasks by deadlines and always have the best interests of the patient at the centre of everything you do. You will have good diary management skills and be able to prioritise your own work effectively whilst assisting clinicians in organising their time. As such, these posts will suit a confident individual who can use their own initiative on a daily basis. You will have at least two years recent, relevant administrative/secretarial experience and knowledge of a range of secretarial procedures. Also detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word / Excel / Outlook with Intermediate IT skills that will be tested at interview.
