Job Description
* General Support Administration as requested by Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
* Support with the creation and maintenance of project budgets, checking against bill of quants etc.
* Update of internal trackers and schedules daily
* Update of Business Central, the internal finance and commercial system daily
* Produce reports as requested by the Quantity Surveyor including raised invoices and forecast sales
* Assisting the Commercial Manager / Commercial Lead with the checking, verifying and payment of subcontractor applications including issuing payment certificate and pay-less notices in a timely manner.
* Report on and instigate continuous improvement by the effective use of KPIs
* Liaise with staff and operatives effectively and with respect
* Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Previous experience within the telecommunications industry would be desirable but is not a mandatory requirement.
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at 9-4 (grade C or above) including Maths, English and ideally a Science
* I.T literate particularly Excel and keen to extend knowledge on software packages and Microsoft Office.
* Numerate to high standard, able to analyse data and produce costs and information for final accounts.
* Able to produce work accurately and to tight deadlines
* Enthusiastic, committed and flexible
