They have instructed us to recruit an experienced and committed Legal Secretary with a keen eye for detail. This is a marvellous opportunity to remain within a Secretarial/Assistant capacity and will gain more responsibility but would not suit Paralegals looking to progress.
We are looking for a talented Legal Secretary to join our client's Team in the Residential Property/Conveyancing Team in their stunning offices in Essex.
The Firm prides itself on providing a great working environment and excellent service to their clients and has the awards to prove this. You must have at least 2 years experience working as a Legal Secretary and have a good understanding of the conveyancing process and sound knowledge of property transactions.
Responsibilities
* Supporting and assisting fee earners specialising in residential property & conveyancing
* Diary management
* Travel arrangements
* Use of case management systems
* Drafting various legal documents and client correspondence
* Audio and copy typing
* Preparing court bundles
* Liaising with a range of stakeholders
* Data processing and management
* General administrative duties
You will be a team player who can adapt to various teams, a competent communicator with strong IT and typing skills. A fast typing speed and experience with audio-dictation typing is a must, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
