About the role: Early Years Practitioner The Hobby Horse Nursery is part of the Banbury and Bicester College, and we are now looking for a permanent, full-time practitioner to join our friendly nursery team. You will work with the staff in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and support the planning and preparation of activities to meet the physical, educational, personal social and emotional needs of the children who attend the nursery. We provide childcare for up to 62 children a day, between the ages of three months to 5 years. This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours per week. About you: You will have experience of working with children from 3 months to 5 years. You will need either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent to apply for this role. Up to date knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum is preferred, but not essential. Level 2 Safeguarding qualification is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing high quality childcare, and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
