We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, national organisation looking to expand their Finance Team with the addition of a Finance Assistant based at their head office in York. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous finance experience who's ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative team environment. You’ll report directly to the Finance Manager and play a key part in delivering efficient finance operations. The role offers a varied workload across accounts processing and financial admin, with strong scope for development. Key Responsibilities of Finance Assistant: Processing payments across multiple departments Reconciling and monitoring bank transactions Managing staff expense claims Providing admin support across the wider finance team Essential: Prior experience in a similar finance/accounts role High attention to detail and confidence with numbers Intermediate Excel skills Organised, methodical and able to work to deadlines Comfortable working independently and managing priorities This is a fantastic chance to join a respected organisation offering long-term development and career growth
