The Role
For our Senior Lead Business Analyst role, we are looking for a professional with strong analytical and communication skills to analyze data for financial governance and develop audience-specific reports. The role involves collaborating with leaders and stakeholders to ensure financial compliance, addressing variances, developing ad hoc reports, and making monthly presentations.

This is a Work from Home position within the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough and innovative financial analysis to generate actionable insights. Identify variances and areas of concern and collaborate with stakeholders to promptly address any discrepancies.
2. Build rapport with finance teams for clear and accurate communication.
3. Facilitate discussions and sessions to ensure consistency and accuracy in business case requests for funding approval.
4. Streamline reports and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to meet financial reporting needs.
5. Provide ad hoc analysis to support non-routine communication/budgetary requirements.
6. Contribute to the development of new processes and methods.
7. Develop solutions to complex problems that require creative thinking.
8. Be proficient in data analytics and data visualization tools, including Power BI, SQL, Python, and Microsoft Office suite.
9. Work with Lumen finance and Advancement teams to share insights, connect dots, and drive outcomes.
10. Possess an understanding of how Finance manages Opex and Capex funding and budgets.
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to interact with peers and managers, as well as to deliver monthly presentations to the leadership team.
12. Use judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.
13. Exert significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment.
14. Demonstrate the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
15. Have a decent understanding of the telecom industry.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required Education / Experience
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
2. Field of Study: Business, Finance, Business Analytics, Math/Statistics, Management or related field.
Preferred Education / Experience
7+ years related experience.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY.
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI.
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA.
