Essential requirements:
* Hold a social work degree or equivalent qualification with at least 3 years’ experience in a statutory Adult Social Care setting.
* Demonstrate motivation to challenge existing practices and engage with strengths-based assessment approaches.
* Work with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including long-term conditions, substance abuse, hoarding, dementia, and alcohol issues.
* Conduct social work assessments and interventions that are strength-based and person-centered, securing necessary funding in line with Reshaping Trafford Policy.
* Provide effective responses to safeguarding enquiries following the Care Act and local policies.
* Collaborate with West Neighbourhood Team to deliver high-quality care to adults with diverse needs.
What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
