Hariley Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our client’s dynamic team near Telford. If you have a proven track record in Accounts and are looking for a new opportunity to excel in a fast-paced environment, this role could be the perfect fit for you!
Key Accountabilities
1. Raising invoices on SAP and communicating them to our customers.
2. Use of bespoke systems and SAP for analysis/ investigative work as required.
3. Dealing with any subsequent customer queries and raising credit notes on SAP.
4. Credit control duties including cash allocation.
5. Maintenance of customer rates paperwork.
6. Reporting/validation of weekly activity and charges raised.
7. Ad hoc duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
2. Computer literate with a high level of Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
3. Experience using accounting software packages; knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
4. Finance qualifications are advantageous.
5. Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines.
6. Confident when dealing with people on the telephone/in person and at all levels.
7. Adaptable and methodical approach to work/training/working hours.
8. Conscientious and reliable.
9. Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information.
10. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
11. Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
12. Professional, approachable, and helpful.
13. Proactive and able to make decisions.
