Role
You will optimise procurement processes, drive value creation and support strategic projects across our clients global operations. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to influence procurement strategy and operations while working directly with senior leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy & Optimisation:
* Design and implement efficient procurement processes and systems that ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
* Identify opportunities for value creation and cost savings across procurement activities.
Project Management & Execution:
* Oversee procurement-related projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and deliverables are met.
* Maintain dynamic project updates and proactively analyse and mitigate risks.
Cost Management & Analysis:
* Lead project material cost evaluations and support process cost implementation.
* Provide expert analysis and recommendations on procurement-related financial decisions.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Act as the key liaison between procurement and internal teams, ensuring seamless project execution.
* Partner with global teams in Madrid, Sweden and China to align procurement strategies.
Risk Management:
* Develop and implement risk management strategies related to procurement and supply chain operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
* Proven experience in procurement, supply chain or project management within the automotive industry.
* Strong background in managing complex projects across global teams.
Skills:
* Expertise in supply chain software, ERP systems and data analysis tools.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Procurement Management, Economics or a related field.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
* Knowledge of Mandarin is a strong advantage.
