- Accessories London/New York (relocation package provided) I am working with a high street accessories brand who have briefed me on a super exciting opportunity for a Product Development Manager who specialises in the Accessories space.
The role is quite unique in that for the first 3-6 months you will be based in the London office, after that, you would be relocated and based over in New York More about the role: Range planning
- knowing how to maximise on best sellers but also stay on trend and offer innovation.
Daily communication with factories to ensure product design, quality and price are to specifications.
There will be some admin involved so you must be super organised and keep track of all samples requested .
Costing – you will need to know how to make necessary changes to get pieces into price.
Trend research is done mainly by the Design team, but you will also be doing your own research as well and be aware of emerging trends.
Be fashion forward with a strong commercial eye.
You will be working on multiple seasons at the same time so you will need to be comfortable with this and be able to manage deadlines.
Who they are looking for: 5 years experience in the accessories space.
Constantly driving business and sales, so some account management experience would be ideal.
Experience in managing a team and building rapport with a range of seniorities.
Someone who is not afraid of a challenge.
Confident in a customer facing role, but low ego.
Comfortable in presenting, selling and building an overall picture of the brand.
