First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Health, Safety and Building Compliance to join our experienced and highly motivated Health/Safety and Property Safety team on a permanent basis.
You will spend your time leading and managing Health and Safety and property safety at First Choice Homes, ensuring full compliance through a robust safety framework that prioritises high standards, risk management, and assurance.
Responsibilities:
1. Exceeding statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
2. Contributing strategically to asset management.
3. Overseeing key safety projects.
4. Managing health and safety and property safety across various assets, including fire, gas, electrical safety, water hygiene, asbestos, district heating, and building safety across residential and commercial properties.
5. Fostering a strong health and safety culture in line with legislation.

Who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate:
* Has a full UK driving licence
* Housing management Level 5 qualification (or willingness to work towards).
* Appropriate academic qualification (HNC, Degree, NEBOSH, Building Safety/Compliance Qualifications (or working towards)
* Strong knowledge of current best practice in property safety and able to keep up to date with evolving and changing good practice
