Job Description:
SEND Class Teacher (Primary Resource Base)
We are looking for enthusiastic and inspiring teachers who will promote the achievement and wellbeing of pupils who have severe, moderate and complex needs. You may already be an experienced teacher looking for a change, or a new Teacher starting their journey; we welcome all applications at this exciting time for an amazing school.
Previous experience of working in a special needs setting is not essential. We aim for nothing but the best in support of our learners, and our mission is to be transformational. Our model is deeply rooted in making progress that is meaningful for learners and their families.
The successful candidates will be professionals who recognise the importance of doing things differently to ensure learners achieve and enjoy life. Successful candidates will also be:
* Confident leaders of curious and effective class-teams.
* Responsive to the priorities raised for learners, ensuring there is highly individualised planning; with a full understanding that something new and unique may need to be created rather than relying on pre-existing strategies and resources. Thinking afresh every time we learn something new about them.
If you are a passionate SEND/Primary/EYFS teacher looking for a new challenge, please APPLY NOW!
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, which may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
