Job Description
The management of compliance on all fleet is integral to the operation to enable all vehicles are maintained and roadworthy ensuring we operate within legal. To play a part in the daily planning of the fleet when required. The person needs to be flexible to location / role and hours
Salary: £32,500 per annum
Shift: Any 5 in 7 days
Key Duties of a Planning and Compliance Coordinator:
1. Manage compliance activity for depots, ensuring events are booked in line with company’s compliance objectives, chase each booking is completed thoroughly and appropriate escalations carried out.
2. Provide daily/weekly reports relating to compliance status of the company’s fleet
3. Complete follow up activities at stipulated times to ensure vehicle arrival at the vendor or attendance by the mobile engineer and take required action for ‘no-shows’.
4. Support other team members when required, assisting with any activities, which are within the wider team’s remit.
5. Use all systems proficiently, maintaining accurate and comprehensive data input continuously.
6. Be able to utilise GTS, for both a Planning and Operations function
Qualifications
7. Thorough understanding of commercial vehicle and ancillary equipment, compliance requirements.
8. Experience in an environment managing commercial vehicle compliance, and full familiarity with scheduling, booking, and managing slippage.
9. Proven team worker, with drive, enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ mind-set, supportive of colleagues and willing to get involved.
10. Highly organised, able to manage multiple work streams effectively
11. Be experienced user of GTS and able to competently control and manage planning role
12. Knowledge of the sector and relevant operational practices
13. CPC Holder is desirable
