The role of Production Systems Service Sales Manager is an exciting opportunity within Johnson Controls to develop our focus on service growth within wellhead systems and hydraulic process control equipment. Reporting to the Service Sales Manager UK, sitting within the Global Marine & Offshore Service business, you will seek to grow equipment servicing and product supply base in the UK and overseas.
Working closely with and supported by our operations team in the UK, you will be instrumental in performing the sales growth initiative.

How You Will Do It
You will lead the execution of your Go-To-Market strategy in existing markets and employ enterprise tools and value selling concepts to deliver targeted growth. Ensuring your strategies success, you will take key findings to continuously adapt your sales strategy to deliver growth. You will also ensure effective adoption of Company systems, tools, pricing policies and sales processes.
Through using our current market intelligence and industry networking tools you will blend field activity with conversations with new clients to capture any opportunities available to you.
Salesforce.com is the CRM tool within the business and our Marketing function is also able to support with external communications and tailoring customer campaigns you require to assist you with performing your growth strategy.
To Be Successful in This Role You Will
10. Build business development strategies to improve sales opportunities in our target markets.
11. Identify the best existing accounts to target for growth as well as identifying and converting new account opportunities.
12. Monitor competitor activities & new developments.
13. Lead the complete sales process from opportunity identification to sales closure, coordinating inputs from other business stakeholders.
14. Develop a sales pipeline to ensure installation order booking requirements are met.
15. Handle leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce.
16. Contribute to our Oil & Gas growth rooms to improve opportunity creation and cross sell opportunities.
17. Continuously strive and find opportunities for continuous improvement.
18. Ensure that there is effective and efficient bid management.
Wh at We Look For
R equired
19. Knowledge and understanding of the UK Oil/Gas/Renewables market.
20. Technical understanding of Production Systems and Hydraulic Equipment is required but is not crucial as we have the technical knowledge to support training.
21. Working with major Oil & Gas customers Operators and EPCs
22. Consistent track record of developing new business in a sales representative, business development, territory manager or field sales role.
23. Experience in a service or contract-based sales function
24. Experience in developing new business through excellent client relationships and forecasting.
25. Experience in field sales and in-depth knowledge of the complexities of relationship selling as well as planning, business development, opportunity, and pipeline management.
26. IT literacy and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
27. Excellent communication skills and ability to handle the full sales lifecycle.
28. Full UK Driving License
Preferred
29. Proven track record of selling technical solutions within the Oil, Gas & Marine Market.
30. We’d ideally love you to have experience using Salesforce.com CRM application along with experience of working within a large organization where matrix structures are common.
31. Be comfortable presenting technical and commercial information to board level.
32. Ability to function autonomously, whilst also being a proactive teammate
33. Resourceful and engaging with operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service.
34. Ability to build plans and bring teams together for mutual success.
