Main duties of the job About the Role The Team Manager plays a key role in the service, you will be responsible for the daily operational running of the team. Line managing a team of practitioners (Senior Practitioners, Social Workers and Disability Practitioners) and providing support to the two other teams when required. You will be expected to take a lead role on behalf of the Disability Service in some areas of whole service development, we welcome and encourage new thinking and ways of working. We recognise the added vulnerability of Disabled Children and the service undertakes and you will be expected to be the operation lead on all aspects of social work practice including: Child in Need, Child Protection, Children subject to PLO and Care Proceedings and Children who we care for (plus young people Leaving Care).
