Supplier Relationship Manager We are looking for a Supplier/Vendor Relationship Manager in our Marketplace Asset Finance team. This team forms part of Funding Circle's Marketplace. Our Marketplace business operates as our own in-house business finance brokerage, helping businesses get the funding they need by working with a select group of partners including banks, challenger banks and other alternative lenders. The role We are growing our Asset Finance lending and this role will be key to accelerating this growth. The Supplier Relationship Manager is a new role for this team and will be responsible for generating new business by finding, onboarding and building long term relationships with a range of different equipment, vehicle and machinery suppliers, ensuring their customers get the funding that fits them, quickly. Generating leads by finding and onboarding high quality suppliers who introduce their customers to us for funding Managing supplier relationships over the phone and potentially in some instances face to face, constantly finding ways to add value to our vendors and their customers Working closely with the support team to deliver an exceptional service, always getting the right deal for the customer, with payment delivered on time for the supplier Fostering great relationships with our lending partners Seeking insights to help inform the development of our supplier proposition and working with the team to continuously improve it Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day What we're looking for Experience in Asset Finance with good product knowledge and 3 years experience in onboarding, managing and building relationships with suppliers of equipment or vehicles Your own network with existing relationships you can bring with you is desirable Deep understanding of the market, the competition and the opportunities to win Someone who can spot a problem, explore and understand it, identify possible solutions and make decisions about the best course of action Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities that others won't Strong communication skills; you easily connect with people Motivation by success in numbers and drive to achieve your monthly targets At Funding Circle we are committed to building diverse teams so please apply even if your past experience doesn't align perfectly with the requirements.
