As Technology Business Analyst, you will be a key contributor in the People Technology team - a strategic team focused on creating a simple, integrated, and digital experience for our people, and real-time data and insight about our people. The key responsibility will be the provision of high-quality complete business analysis tasks and project support to aid the delivery of technical components. You will have a strong understanding of business process engineering and general business awareness to be able to work comfortably on any project with any level of management.
How you'll help us make Health happen
1. You will work in partnership with colleagues from across PPP to gather and prioritise business requirements for technology projects and document these using clear and structured methods.
2. You'll support project design workstreams by utilising best practice methodologies to create business process models.
3. You will contribute towards the preparation of strategic proposals and project business cases, liaising with colleagues across multidisciplinary teams as appropriate.
4. Work with technology colleagues and the business to define target operating models and changes driven by project delivery.
5. By collaborating with business partners and senior leadership teams to define project measures of success & key performance indicators, ensuring these can be measured going forwards.
6. Taking accountability for deliverables and self-manage workload, highlighting any concerns or blockers to the Technology Change Manager.
7. You will have an awareness of other platforms (not primary or core people technology) and can think ahead and beyond to cover all elements of change.
Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role
1. Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
2. Experience of working on technology projects and using business analysis tools and techniques to gather business requirements, shape and present back to stakeholders.
3. Understand the core elements of PPP and how PPP process and technology serves as an enabler for employee experiences.
4. Strong analytical and commercial skills and the ability to assimilate and analyse complex business issues.
5. Strong IT skills in core Microsoft products including PowerPoint and Excel.
6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with customers around the business at a variety of management levels.
7. Strong judgement skills will be required in the assessment of how to present business analysis to various audiences including senior business stakeholders and external consultants.
