Long Term Futures are recruiting for a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a lovely two-form primary school in Weybridge (KT11). This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on young learners and develop their career in education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work primarily across KS2, focusing on Years 4 and 5, but support in other areas of the school when required.
- Provide mainstream class support, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
- Assist with SEN interventions, supporting children with additional needs in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to individual needs.
- Help maintain an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
The school is seeking a candidate who is:
- Dedicated and committed to supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of pupils.
- Previous experience in a similar role/primary school is desirable but not essential as training will be provided by the school.
- Has the relevant level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the school and its students.
