About the role We are seeking a full-time Junior Project Engineer to join the Oxford Turbine Research Facility (OTRF) team at the Department of Engineering Science (based at the Osney Thermofluids Laboratory). The position is fixed-term for two years with funding provided by ATI/Rolls-Royce. You will be responsible for assisting with the design, procurement and installation of a major multi-million-pound upgrade to the test facility. This will include oversight of an extension to the existing laboratory; procurement of new compressor room; development of an advanced test section and instrumentation for the test facility, day-to-day support of experimental test programs, assisting with the operation of the test facility, processing of experimental data, communication and management of outside contractors and suppliers. You will be required to work closely with the existing OTRF team, including academics, test controllers, project engineer, students and technicians. About you You should hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline or demonstrate equivalent experience.
