Join us as a Financial Control Analyst\n\nThis is an opportunity to support the delivery of end-to-end financial control activity\n\nWith significant exposure, you’ll enjoy networking with senior stakeholders across Finance\n\nGain valuable experience and hone your expertise as you advance your career in this challenging role\n\nWe offer a hybrid way of working where you’ll be based in our Manchester office at least two days a week, with the rest of your time working from home\n\nWhat you'll do\n\nAs a Financial Control Analyst, you’ll establish and maintain strong working relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and deliver high quality and consistent financial, statutory, regulatory and management reporting outputs. You’ll comply with relevant policies and consider and escalate the adequacy and effectiveness of the business’s controls on a regular basis.\n\nDay to day, you’ll:\n\nUndertake reconciliations, accounting, MI and control activities to support the ledger close, reconciliation, substantiation and reporting\n\nSupport change initiatives, process improvements and in system implementations\n\nPrepare month-end accounting, such as journals preparation, reviews and account reconciliation\n\nInvestigate process or system issues\n\nThe skills you'll need\n\nTo succeed in this role, you’ll bring experience in core financial control delivery and reporting outputs, including ledger close, balance sheet substantiation, statutory and management reporting and external audit.\n\nWe’ll also look to you to have:\n\nAn accounting qualification or be working towards completion of one\n\nKnowledge of international accounting standards\n\nExperience of delivering change in a financial services environment\n\nThe ability to identify, build and enhance key relationships at a senior level\n\nExperience of investigating and probing issues with cross-business impact
