Overview of role
Location: Stevenage
To deliver and collect products from customers, suppliers and other organisations and locations, as required by the business.
Key Accountabilities
1. To comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers
2. To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards
3. To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency
4. To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g. picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety
5. To comply with Company standards for customer service
6. To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels
7. To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock.
8. To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications
9. To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
