About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Playworker to join our after school childcare team. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment, helping children develop social skills and enjoy play-based activities. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and support children during after-school sessions.
* Ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children.
* Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
* Experience working with primary-aged children in a similar setting is essential.
* A positive, proactive attitude with strong communication skills.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their development through play.
