We are currently working alongside a law firm based in Reading, they are seeking for a skilled and dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly respected firm that offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Role Overview:
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload, providing clients with expert advice and guidance on matters such as:
* Will drafting and Powers of Attorney
* Estate Administration and Probate
* Trusts and Tax Planning
* Inheritance Disputes and Claims
* Elderly Client and Vulnerable Client services
* Business development and maintaining client relationships
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from inception to completion
* Drafting Wills, advising on Powers of Attorney, and providing estate planning advice
* Assisting with probate, inheritance tax planning, and the administration of estates
* Handling disputes related to inheritance or estate administration
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, other professionals, and stakeholders
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in Private Client law
* Proficient knowledge of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Estate Administration
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional client service
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and independently
* STEP qualification or willingness to work towards it is desirable, but not essential
