About the Role: In this pivotal role, you will spend the majority of your time coordinating our Special Educational Needs provision, with a small percentage dedicated to classroom teaching. This balance offers the opportunity to engage directly with pupils while driving strategic leadership in SEND across the school. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the provision for pupils with special educational needs. Coordinate and oversee EHCPs, interventions, and support strategies. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all children. Maintain accurate records and contribute to whole-school development. Deliver a small portion of teaching time to maintain close engagement with our pupils.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience as a SENCO or in a similar SEND leadership role. A strong understanding of SEND policies, processes, and strategies.
