Changing the world of pet food for good We’re Tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique Tails.com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It’s clever stuff. We’ve got bold plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re now scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. You will be responsible for: Bringing our brand strategy to life -: You’ll provide the creative magic, and energy that not only transforms the way our customers feel about our brand, but that also evangelises the role and power of our brand across the Brand team, and Tails.com, ensuring we’re always embracing a disruptive challenger-brand mindset Helping us find our voice through our brand platform: You’ll serve as the champion of our brand big idea and tirelessly strive to bring meaning and impact to our brand work in an unforgettable and disruptive way Guiding our brand localisation - partnering with our country teams to understand the needs and nuances of local markets, leading the brand country teams to develop and execute effective localised toolkits of our master-brand creative Line managing our brand management team, creating a culture of high-performance in partnership with other key teams across the business, inspiring with context and direction Serving on the brand leadership team as a key leader in our Brand and Proposition Group - your peers will be our Head of Creative & Content and our Head of Product Design The skills you’ll bring: Substantial brand leadership experience, compelling prior brand leadership experience, ideally working on a mix of established FMCG brands mixed with challenger / disruptive / mission-led brands that champion distinctiveness Inspirational creative flair & deep expertise across the brand mix (evidence of exceptional creative flair & strong communication skills (across the creative mix, including communications & branding / visual identity as well as packaging) Global / pan-European perspective - you thrive building a brand across multiple markets as you’ll be leading the localisation of our brand in new growth markets A natural and inspiring leader who will help our brand team to do the best work of their lives whilst role-modelling the Tails.com values whilst building trusted partnerships with our creative agencies What's in it for you? If selected, you will then have a call with the Hiring Manager to understand more about your skills and experience (30 mins). Should you be successful, the next stage will be a video call with another member of the Brand Leadership team (45 mins), plus potentially meeting our Chief Brand Officer If successful, you will be invited to present a case back to a panel of interviewers as a final stage (60 mins).
