Crown House Manufacturing (CHtM) pioneered the use of offsite manufacturing for mechanical, electrical, and public health services over 25 years ago, and since then has helped to deliver some of the UK's most iconic buildings. We are looking for a Commercial Administrator / Accounts Clerk to join the team at our state of the art 12,000m² facility based in Oldbury, near Birmingham.
What will the Commercial Admin / Accounts Clerk role look like?
Functions:
* Manage invoices and supplier statement recs as per allocation.
* Maintain and review queries and parked invoices on a regular basis to ensure invoices are approved and paid within supplier's payment terms.
* Assist finance lead and Commercial manager on an ad hoc basis.
* Telephone calls and queries.
* Improve and maintain supplier relationships.
* Improve procurement & operational team relationships.
* Assist with the SAP system improvements and testing.
Processes:
* Ensure that centrally established Finance processes are adopted and delivered without compromise, but updated where appropriate and necessary and any such updates to be reviewed by Head of Transactional Processing before implementation.
* Take part in any Finance internal training provided to ensure continually up to date with rest of team and current legislation.
* Continuously strive to influence and add value to the overall performance of the commercial and finance team.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* SAP or equivalent systems trained.
* Purchase Ledger skills.
* Data systems experience.
* Financial knowledge.
* Construction and/or MEP knowledge.
* Ability to communicate with all levels within the organisation.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
