Job summary We are looking for a Band 5 Registered General Nurse (Bank) to join our friendly, inclusive and forward thinking District Team. The District Nursing Team works across the West Lancashire area providing care and support to patients in community settings. The team is based out of Clayton House in Burscough. Main duties of the job To work as part of the 24-hour district nursing service, under the direction of the District Nursing Team Manager / Leader, providing high quality holistic care to patients. The District Nurse role carries delegated responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based nursing to patients in their own homes. To assume delegated responsibility for the supervision of the team in the absence of the District Nursing Team Leader, when required.
