You will be the first point of contact for guests to our Award Winning Hotel providing an efficient and courteous service at all times. This position is primarily guest focused so a helpful and welcoming attitude is key. Key roles and responsibilities include: Anticipating and addressing guests' service needs. Assisting individuals with accessibility requirements. Speaking with both guests and colleagues using clear and professional language. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others. Standing, or walking for an extended period of time. Assisting guests with luggage. Parking guest vehicles. Chauffeuring guests around the resort and within the local area. About You Someone with a passion for people who has the ability to champion exceptional service. Awareness and sensitivity to different cultures and languages of our guests. Personal resilience, in terms of stamina and ability to handle occasional challenging situations with calmness and diplomacy. Composure, good judgement and a welcoming smile. A minimum of 1 year's previous experience in a hospitality hosting position or a porter role who enjoys being people focused is preferred. Previous guest relations or customer service experience is preferred. Highly experienced in providing exceptional customer service, and will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the local area. Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. You must be fully conversant in English. It is essential that you have a clean full UK driving licence, as part of the role will include parking guest vehicles, chauffeuring guests to other areas within the hotel grounds, and the local area.
