Start: 13 January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter, Fixed term for 12 months We wish to appoint an Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) within the School of English. This is to replace Dr Peter Mackay during his Royal Society of Edinburgh Research Fellowship. You will be a scholar with a growing international research reputation in English and commitment to delivering high quality teaching within the broad field of Scottish Literature from the eighteenth century to the present. The successful candidate will be expected to be capable of teaching Scottish and English literature to undergraduate and taught postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds. Candidates should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline. Excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting knowledge exchange are essential. The post is available for 12 months starting 13 January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
