Join a fantastic local engineering specialist currently recruiting for an Electrically Biased Field Service Engineer. Working in a family-run organisation, if you want to be part of an inclusive team, this role has the culture you're looking for. Based in the Northwest, this Mon-Fri role offers favourable daytime working hours (7:00am-3:30pm), with opportunity to be home every evening. In a customer-facing position, you'll represent the company in a positive and friendly manner. This hands-on role involves supporting the company's clients by servicing, installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of pumps and electrical controls across the Northwest.
This role is suited to a self-motivated, flexible individual who understands the demands of a field service position. Ideal candidates will possess a strong electrical skillset, with prior experience in electrical fault finding and installation. Previous field service experience is preferred. Pumps repair experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical and instrumentation systems.
2. Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues with equipment and controls.
3. Conduct installations and removals of relevant equipment and instrumentation.
4. Analyse breakdown causes, suggesting improvements to prevent recurrence.
5. Provide 24/7 emergency cover on a rotational basis.
Your reward for this role is a competitive salary of £40k per annum, a company van, life assurance, standard pension contributions, and ongoing personal development, with an OTE of £55k per annum.
