The Secondary school I am working with is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary School History Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching history to students in grades 7-11, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students develop a deeper understanding of historical events, cultures, and perspectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in history, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state and national history standards.
* Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
* Integrate technology and interactive activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Encourage respectful and constructive discussions on historical topics.
* Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
* Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and exams.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* Valid teaching certification for secondary education in the UK.
* Proven experience teaching history at the secondary school level.
* Strong knowledge of historical content and teaching methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
