The Business Support Team has an exciting opportunity to recruit a Business Support Facilitator. The job role will see you giving an extensive range of impressive administrative support to our internal teams.
The Opportunity
To join a well-respected team as a Business Support Facilitator. The Business Support Team was formed in 2018 and has since seen great success and uptake from the business requesting our administrative support. As a team we pride ourselves on our enthusiasm and ‘can-do’ attitudes, and work collaboratively in providing the various directorates and teams with their support requirements.
We liaise with many colleagues, teams, and levels of seniority, providing us with an ever-growing perspective and profile within Aster.
What you might be doing
* Providing effective coordination of onboarding suppliers and managing correct documentation.
* Raising purchase orders, managing credit card payments and using Concur.
* Liaising with key leads across the business to collate timely and accurate Subject Access Request data.
* Arranging company-wide travel and accommodation bookings.
* Using and managing systems, and spreadsheet creation and upkeep.
* Responding quickly and effectively to support requests via Service Now.
* Ordering of prints, sundries, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
* Taking accurate minutes for various meetings including senior level meetings.
About you
You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable working with people from all levels internally and externally.
You’ll either possess previous minute-taking experience, or excellent spelling and grammar.
You’ll have good computer literacy, especially in Microsoft software.
You’ll work flexibly and manage your diverse workload effectively, both as an individual and collaboratively as a team.
You’ll have experience of working towards tight deadlines effectively.
You’ll have a full UK drivers’ licence and will be able to occasionally travel for work purposes. You will need to be within commutable distance of our main Hubs within our operating region. Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
