Job Purpose
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing yard based operations, fleet compliance, maintaining stocks, and organising the yard. Included in the role is the need to support day to day administrative tasks within the office, ensuring inputs are progressed accurately within requisite time scales.
Accountabilities
1. Effectively supervising the site in accordance with business and legislative requirements.
2. Supporting safe management in accordance with the Safety Management system to meet compliance and drive a safety culture.
3. Adhering to transport compliance, including vehicle maintenance, driver’s hours, and tachograph regulations in addition to working time directive regulations.
4. Compliance with company processes and procedures relating to stocks, financial controls within the operating system (CODAS).
5. Complying with Flogas operating procedures and works instructions.
6. Supervision of Drivers.
7. Opening and closing of the site on a rotation basis.
8. Professional and positive approach to drive effective team working.
9. Act as emergency controller for holiday and sickness cover.
10. Supporting and supervising vehicle loading.
11. Experience of working in a high-paced environment.

Desirable:
1. CPC Transport Managers Qualification.
2. Knowledge of the storage of dangerous goods regulations.
3. Knowledge of tanker loading operations.
