By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a teenage male in Bury.
Our service user is a cheerful and determined young man who loves being around people. He enjoys action rhymes, being read to, and watching shows like Something Special and Balamory. He also likes shopping, visiting farms, and exploring car boot sales.
We seek engaging individuals to provide specialised 1:1 and 2:1 care for him. During the week, youll accompany him to college and support him throughout the day.
Your role? To deliver specialist care, overseeing his clinical needs day and night, and participating in his favourite activities. Youll prioritise his comfort and safety while creating a calm environment that encourages restful sleep.

Main duties of the job
Pay Rates:
1. £ - £ per hour
2. Approx. £ - £ (per 9-hour day shift)
3. Approx. £ - £ (per 10-hour night shift)
Shifts Available:
4. Part Time Days
5. 7:15am 4:15pm
6. Saturday Waking Night
7. 9:30pm 7:30am
8. We are looking for flexibility to work both days and nights for this position

16. Part Time Days & Nights 2 shifts per week
17. Monday to Friday 7:15am 4:15pm (Term Time)
18. Monday to Friday - 10:00am - 4:00pm (During school holidays)
19. Alternate Saturday Nights: 9:30pm 7:30am

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
