Care Manager - CARE HOMES
Hampton Healthcare provides exceptional care across our growing group of homes. As our Group grows, a new opportunity for a Care Manager has arisen to join our Head Office team.

This person's primary aims will be resident care focus, promoting high standards and working alongside the Registered Home Managers to achieve the highest standards.
Job title: Care Manager - Care Homes
Salary: £21,000.00 pa subject to experience and will be reviewed as job scope increases.
Report to: Head of Care
Hours: 24 hours per week, 9-5, 3 days a week (occasional weekend and night work may be necessary).
Based at our Head Office in Northampton but travel to other sites in the surrounding counties will be required.
This position is subject to proven eligibility to work in the UK and a satisfactory ENHANCED DBS in the event of a successful application.

About the job:
We're looking for a Care Manager to support and continuously improve the quality of care for our residents. This opportunity will oversee nursing homes in Warwickshire & Northamptonshire - Northampton Town Centre, Wellingborough and Hartshill.
This role requires strong and effective leadership skills, up-to-date care practice, extensive experience of residents/patient care and be extremely confident in managing residents' care needs.
Your main areas of focus will be (but not limited to):
1. Monitor resident reviews and follow ups
2. Observations of care practices on the floor
3. Working with and training of senior staff on good practices and Hampton way
4. Assist with admissions when required
5. Cover for RHMs when required
6. Care plan audits and follow ups
To join us, you'll need to be equipped with experience in a care home environment, a mentor, including supporting newly recruited team members. You also have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
About you:
* Travel between sites will be required, therefore a full driving licence and car is necessary although a pool car is available.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior management role with a proven record of improving quality in the care setting.
* Experience of working in dementia care preferable.
* Experience of meeting and exceeding KPIs.
* Experience in budgetary management.
* NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management or working towards.
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
* Highly organised with a proactive and “solutions focused” approach.
