Job Title: Secondary English Tutor

Job Duties:
* Provide secondary level English tutoring to students
* Develop and implement lesson plans
* Assess and evaluate students' progress
* Provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN)
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or a Degree in English or related field
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field
Experience:
Prior experience in tutoring or teaching English at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the secondary English curriculum
* Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working with students with SEN
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education
* Experience with exam preparation (e.g., GCSE, A-Level)
Working Conditions:
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing English tutoring to secondary level students with varying needs. The tutor will need to adapt their teaching methods to support students with SEN and provide regular feedback on their progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
